Able Office Furniture Terms and Conditions

POLICY

Our marketing policy is one of continuous product development. We therefore reserve the right to alter specifications and prices without notice. All orders are accepted subject to these terms and conditions of sale unless otherwise specified and agreed in writing by Able Office Furniture Ltd.

PRICES

Prices relate to products supplied in fabrics that are published in our price list, and are exclusive of VAT which will be invoiced at the rate ruling at the time of despatch. It is a condition of acceptance of orders that goods are invoiced at prices ruling at the date of despatch.

PAYMENT

Payment for goods is strictly net monthly, and is to be made no later than the last day of the month following the month of delivery. In the event of late payment Able Office Furniture Ltd., reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

OWNERSHIP

Ownership shall not pass to the purchaser until Able Office Furniture Ltd receives payment in full for any goods or services rendered.

RISK

Risk of loss or damage to the goods shall pass to the purchaser at the time of delivery. Where goods are lost, damaged or destroyed and ownership has yet to pass, the purchaser will indemnify Able Office Furniture Ltd against any loss incurred by it provided such loss damage or destruction does not result from the negligence of Able Office Furniture Ltd.

DIMENSIONS

All measurements quoted in our publications are nominal and terms used are those accepted by the trade.

DELIVERY

All deliveries are to ground floor entrance only. No liability in respect of damage will be accepted unless written notification is received by us within 3 days of receipt of the goods at the delivery address. We reserve the right to make a charge for excessive waiting time.

DIRECT DELIVERY

Customers requesting a direct delivery to their customer may incur a surcharge. Any request for a direct delivery must be agreed in writing with Able Office Furniture Ltd. prior to the delivery taking place. Customers must provide assistance with offloading unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

COLLECTIONS

By prior arrangement only.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations will only be accepted if Able Office Furniture Ltd. receives written notice at least 7 working days prior to the delivery date. We reserve the right to recover the full cost of materials obtained specifically for the order, and for work done prior to the cancellation notice.

INSTALLATION

It is the responsibility of the supplier to ensure that our products are installed to the users’ satisfaction and where appropriate adequate training on their proper usage is provided.
